Out of a temperature and humidity controlled enviornment comes this fantastic looking original 28 year old factory stock un-modified 1982 Guild D-55 acoustic guitar produced at Guilds famed Westerly Rhode Isand plant(Serial number confirms 1982 date, also 1982 is stamped on the base of the neck inside the sound hole as Guild does with their guitars). It comes out of storage for many years with well loosened strings, is in overall Really Nice Excellent+ original condition(some might call it near mint), plus you will also get the very good condition original Guild hard locking shell case(and key) it was purchased with., This beautiful top-of-the-line Guild dreadnought has been very lightly played and it shows. The original frets show at least 90% or more life remaining. Comfortable nice super low playing action currently 2-3/32th inch at the 12th fret(#1-20 frets are all Buzz-free and play clean) fully functioning truss rod allows for further string height action adjustments. This D-55 has that traditional unique Guild Tone that is Loud Crisp and warm.
